Deniz Genç, PhD an Assoc. Prof.,at Department of Political Science and International Relations, Istanbul Medipol University since 2020. She is working on Diplomatic History, EU in Global Order, International Organizations, International Migration, Contemporary Issues in World Politics, health policies and politics in Turkey and in the EU more than 10 years. Furthermore she has research in the field of International migration, irregular migration, migration flows and stocks, migrant health; boundaries, frontiers and borders, bordering processes in Europe and in Turkey, de-bordering and re-bordering as otherization practices; regions, regionalism and regionalization in Turkey, post–Soviet, post–Ottoman minorities, minorities’ policies; transnationalism. Throughout her academic career, she has been a participant and leader of several research projects, seminars and conferences.

Assoc.Prof. Deniz Genç is lecturing “Climate Change and EU Policies” within the scope of the project.
